The school will be closed to students tomorrow.
M.E.T. CEO, Mr John Anderson, said teachers, students, parents and other school staff will be offered professional counseling.
“Our prayers are with the two families directly affected by this tragedy – that of the young boy who lost his life and that of the Year 12 M.E.T. female pupil who was driving the car involved in the accident,” Mr Anderson said.
“We ask that the privacy of our students, teachers, parents and the wider Exclusive Brethren Church community be respected at this very difficult time.”
The parents of the deceased boy have asked that his name not be released.
