In the public relations profession we use communications techniques and management skills to resolve crises, address issues, support advocacy, market products and, generally, build effective relationships. In doing so, we work just about everywhere: with miners deep underground, with corporate heavyweights on the 50th floor, with journalists and politicians, with the community.
And the best of us try to do it while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
